Amazon’s recent memo says they love their employees, but everyone knows that isn’t the case.

You’ve seen it — Amazon is trying to “right the ship” in their ongoing PR catastrophe that they’ve ensued over the last five years. Now that the public is well aware of their immoral business practices, they’re still hiding those, but now are convincing the public that they actually care about their workers.

Just this month, CNBC reported that Amazon uses an app called “Mentor” to track their drivers and help keep them safe on the road. Well, anyone who has ever used the app will tell you a different story.

Amazon has equipped delivery vans with AI equipment and…

Apple last released iOS 14.4 near the end of January, but iOS 14.5 is well on its way soon. The update will likely launch to compatible devices in late February/early March 2021.

The Big Sell

Even after its over, another pandemic is surely coming.

In a fuming display of rage, I’m prepared to explain to you why humans have messed everything up. But I won’t. Not yet, exactly.

Bought for me two months ago by my girlfriend’s mother is a book titled Humans: A Brief History Of How We Fucked It All Up by Tom Phillips. It’s a great read and dives into religion, politics, the whole climate change thing. Accurate and true, it’s almost painful. I’m almost concerned as to why she ‘thought of me’ when purchasing.

We’re in a pandemic, by the way. Have you heard?

COVID-19 has shut down entire economies…

An essay about social mobility, a global pandemic, and elections.

So many media pundits have already discredited the “American Dream.” So I won’t waste your time by telling you how the United States ranks near the bottom in upward social mobility, behind France, Canada, Australia, and even the United Kingdom.

The irony here is that in European countries such as France or the U.K. is that their citizens are largely pessimistic about becoming wealthy and moving up in social classes. Meanwhile, in the U.S., citizens are largely optimistic about some day becoming a billionaire, or millionaire.

Let me save you some hoping by telling you it probably won’t happen.

So…

A defining quality in using Twitter is expressing anger. It’s hard to browse the platform without seeing someone’s injustice experience — which is rightfully complained about — or other nuanced frustrations about society. The challenge here is expressing how you feel with such limited characters. You only get 280 characters. What if I told you it was half of that four years ago?

As discussed on John and Hank Green’s podcast, Dear Hank & John, hibernation is a perfect metaphor for this discourse. Oftentimes, subjects are more complicated and obtuse than they appear. …

Tesla Model 3

Game over, auto companies. It’s over. Face it. Tesla won.

I’ve said it before: if GM really wants to invest in electric engineering, they need to stop all production on any gas-powered and diesel vehicles. That might be bad news for investors short-term, but it will line them up for massive success in 7–10 years.

Prior to last year, it was already rumored that Tesla was in the early stages of a new electric hatchback/subcompact vehicle. This would probably be Tesla’s affordable $25,000 car that they announced at last year’s “Battery Day.”

At first glance, a $25,000 price tag doesn’t…

Anderson Cooper and Tucker Carlson may be the only things keeping it alive, but how much gas do they have left?

It’s John Oliver. It’s Trevor Noah. It’s mainstream favorites Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Fallon, and Seth Meyers. It’s Saturday Night Live. It’s Bill Maher. It’s the viewers who get their daily news from social feeds on Twitter and Facebook, but watch late-night TV to finish off consumption.

Less and less U.S. citizens are watching cable. NBCUniversal has invested in their own “cable network” that spins off of Xfinity. On NBC’s Peacock, they have three tabs: the left-most is “channels” where users can see a variety of options, including a CNN-like “The Choice.” …

Apple’s upcoming iOS release, 14.5, rolls out a new feature that enables Face ID to work while wearing a mask. Like Apple’s MacBooks, users will be able to unlock their iPhones with their Apple Watch.

Once the user enables both iOS 14.5 and watchOS 7.4, the feature can be enabled in settings. By default, it’s turned off. After enabling and entering the user’s pin, users will be able to unlock their iPhone whether they have a mask on or not. Once the iPhone is unlocked, the watch will send a haptic feedback signal to the wrist, just like on macOS.

I’ll start this off by saying something stupid like how Elon Musk is a moron just to get your attention. He isn’t. But I don’t know what Elon Musk is… or does.

Actually, no one knows who Elon Musk is, or what he is. His brain, his body, his figure.. he’s an enigma. For what it is worth, Elon Musk is Tesla’s CEO. He’s filthy rich and grew even richer under the COVID-19 pandemic. He was just given the infamous title “Richest Man in the World” this year.

25 years ago, he founded Zip2, a company developed and marketed city…

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has long called for both Senators Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Josh Hawley (R-MO) to resign after perpetuating claims of election fraud by then-President Donald Trump.

Donald Trump was impeached twice — once for calling on an international ally to find dirt on a political opponent and another for inciting insurrection on the United States of America after losing a fair and free election. No other president has conducted as much harm on the country and no other president has been this worthy of impeachment. …
